Georgian Glazing in Langdon Hills
A double glazing installation for a striking mock Georgian, 6 bedroom detached house in Langdon Hills, involved fitting a total of 17 white uPVC windows with Astragal Georgian glazing. The customer had seen an example of our work, while visiting her friend, and wanted the same. These windows replicated the properties original multi paned windows beautifully, and the customer was delighted with the result. A new composite door with Georgian side panels was also included from our new contemporary GRP Composite door range.
Multi Pane Windows, Noak Bridge
A project in Noak Bridge, arose from a request by the managing agent of a small block of apartments in the conservation area. The work involved replacement of original timber Georgian sliding slash windows in the 6 apartments. The uPVC reproductions would have to be identical to the old timber frames, and due to severe restrictions in this respect, permission to proceed had to be sought from Basildon Council planning dept. We provided evidence of the outstanding quality of the products we offer, and our level of skill to achieve a superb result. Once the Planning Authority were satisfied with our abilities the work went ahead.
Canary Wharf
At Canary Wharf, a further customer recommendation prompted work on six apartments including 9 windows and French doors. The owner of one of the apartments, who is also one of the managers of the development, abandoned the tedious and expensive task of repainting her timber double glazed windows. We were able to step in and perfectly replicate her original timber windows using energy efficient uPVC, and as they can be installed from inside the building, no costly scaffolding was required. We supplied fully reversible casement windows using exceedingly precise measurements. The customer was so pleased with the end result, that she referred us on to the other residents. We are now the preferred contractors for this property, and will carry out similar double glazing replacements when needed.
